Wow Green Giveaway!

My sister is a special needs teacher who is passionate about creating healthy and non-toxic environments for her students.  She works with the school and parents to educate them on dangerous chemicals in cleaning supplies and ways to bring safer cleaning products into the home and classroom.  So when she told me she decided to sell a line of eco-cleaners because she loved them so much, I knew they must be great products!

Best of all, she offered to give away a free Trial Pack to one of my readers!!

The Products:

WowGreen cleaning products are 100% non-toxic, enzyme based cleaners that are safe for your children and pets.  The company is committed to being eco-friendly and so employs 100% biodegradable packaging, as well as refillable bottles.  Every WowGreen product has a refill packet purchase option so that the refillable bottle is not going to waste.

The Giveaway:

One reader will receive a trial size package which contains a generous sample of the window cleaner (safe for all stainless steel appliances, TV and computer screens), all purpose cleaner (great counter top cleaner for the kitchen), laundry detergent and upholstery and carpet cleaner (which can be used on all types of fabric furniture). All of these products are hard working and can be used daily to maintain a green clean for your home.

Click here if you’d like to read more about the products or to get in touch with her directly.

Just leave a comment below. Would love to hear any green cleaning tips you use in your home (or feel free just to say hi!). I’ll choose the winner Saturday Nov 14 at noon.  Good Luck!

  5. I love cleaning with vinegar … that’s my green tip 🙂

  6. I use vinegar and water for most things. For furniture polish, I use apple cider vinegar mixed with oil and for scrubbing I use baking soda. Laundry seems to be the most difficult. I buy any detergent that fragrance free, but it’s still full of other chemicals.

  7. thanks for the giveaway! i too use vinegar for most things and sometimes i use method brand cleaning supplies.

alida: i started using charlie soap for my cloth diapers and now i use it on all my laundry and i love it! safe for the environment, free of chemicals and my clothes turn out soft without any added fabric softners.

I use baking soda to scrub out my shower and bathtub. It works really well at getting mold out of the grout.

  9. How exciting! I am just starting to explore chemical free cleaning.

One of my favorite methods of cleaning the range burners is stacking them in the sink, boiling a pot of water, and pouring it over them and letting them soak for 20 minutes. Sounds simple, but you should see the oil lift off of them.

  10. I use vinegar and baking soda. I live in China, and I don’t really want to use Chinese cleaning products – I can’t read the ingredients, but I figure they can’t be good for the kids.

  11. I too use apple cider vinegar for cleaning the kitchen floor. Thanks for offering such a wonderful way to be kinder to our earth and our bodies 🙂

  12. I also use Charlie’s Soap for all our laundry. We our working on incorporating more green cleaning solutions into our household.

  13. These products look wonderful. One if my favorites is Dr Bronners.

  14. I use vinegar and water a lot to clean, but this would be wonderful! Thanks for the chance to win!!

  15. I would love to try these products! I’ve just recently begun to make homemade cleaning products and have been doing more research about chemicals in my home/food. Thanks for your website, I really appreciate all of the great info!

  16. I’m just starting to switch over to ‘green’ cleaning products, now if I can just convince my hubby that they’re just as affective! ^_^

  17. Your blog always has such great tips and info. I use vinegar on my wood floors and scrub with baking soda. I also use 7th generation dish soap.

  18. Another fan of vinegar here, though I haven’t tried the apple cider variety for cleaning. Any difference in how it works, compared to white vinegar?

  19. I just subscribed to your blog and love it! This giveaway would be a great gift for my sister who is passionate about being environmentally friendly. She just had a new baby, so cleanliness is necessary but a constant battle for any new mom.

  20. Oh, what a wonderful website. I’ve spent an evening reading and learning and plan to return regularly for more!

(Baking soda and vinegar recently opened a clogged drain.)

  21. So excited you are all passionate about non toxic cleaning!! Lets keep our families and pets as safe as we can 🙂

  22. I use olive oil, mineral oil and lemon juice for furniture polish. You can see the instructions for finished and unfinished wood here. I use this cheap, battery-operated hand-held drink frother (I picked it up at a dollar store years ago…go figure!) to mix the ingredients well and have had no problems storing batch leftovers unrefrigerated for weeks at a time.

Have been looking for a good natural solution for the shower…thanks for the tip, Cynthia…will give my arms a little workout this afternoon giving it a go! 🙂
