My Top Picks for Mama Wisdom, Wellness and Productivity

I’ve been wanting to share some of my favorite mama resources with you for a loooong time now.  I keep thinking I’ll organize a fancy resource page and then get it all to you all shiny and pretty.

But instead of waiting ’till that happens…I’m going to get you the goods first– and these really are the goods. 🙂

Here are some of my favorite people doing incredible mama-love work in the world:

Wisdom

When I need to seek out wise, calming words that touch my mama-heart I look to Renee Trudeau, author of The Mother’s Guide for Self Renewal and her beautiful blog, The Journey.   Renee also runs amazing women retreats, which are on my must-do-soon list…maybe we can meet up at one soon?

I also get heart-fed by Glennon over at Momastery, and by Ann Voskamp that has me tear-stained heart-flung-open in improbable joy every single time I read her words, and Andrea Scher whose honesty and gorgeous heart pierces mine (like this one)…and the brilliant Brene Brown (whose newest book I’m anxiously awaiting release).

Wellness

Hormones are on my mind as I prep some great tools to share with you in the next weeks in anticipation of my upcoming Harmonize Your Hormones course.  So I couldn’t let this email get sent without sharing with you two rockstars of women’s wellness and hormone health.

My dear friend, colleague and brilliant physician- Sara Gottfried (who is also opening up a virtual course on Mood soon- I’ll share more later)- a holistic minded Harvard trained MD-slash-yoga teacher- I regularly am learning and growing from her work.

Another hormone healer is Marcelle Pick of  Women to Women– a hugely recommended resource for women’s wellness and hormonal issues from a holistic viewpoint.

And if you haven’t checked out the fantastic interview I did with Jennifer Crain– please do. She is a phenomenal resource for natural healing and holistic remedies for the family.

Productivity

Feels like the queen of simple, productive living is Tsh over at Simple Mom (and I’ve been an honored contributor for over 3 years now).

Jamie Martin, who is editor of one of Tsh’s blogs Simple Homeschool– also writes at Steady Mom soulful and smart articles on being a mindful momma in a modern world.

I also deeply enjoy the work of Renee Tougas over at FIMBY who writes as a mother confident in her own skin.  She encourages mother’s to prioritize and nurture their creativity…and has just published an ebook on how to make a salad meal-worthy (I’m a huge fan of meal salads myself and got great ideas from it).

Let’s see…oh of course I have to mention Rachel at Small Notebook– better than Pottery Barn I call her blog space 🙂

And when it comes to streamlining a mom’s life with kids- Susan over at The Confident Mom is a great resource- she puts out packets stocked with organizing and sanity saving tips for summer days and back to school transitions.

I know there is so much mama-love out there….so please share your favorite mama wisdom, wellness and productivity resources in the comments!

P.S. I’ve been getting such great feedback on the Happy Mom, Healthy Family Cookbook and Meal Planning Workshop– Yay! I love that you love it- thanks to everyone who has picked up a copy so far!
