Giveaway: Two Teas for You!

I have been indulging in these two teas for a couple of weeks now and love them, here is what you get if you win this giveaway-

Might Leaf TeaΒ Company:Β  Organic Detox Infusion

I was first introduced to the Mighty Leaf teas when I was in the waiting room of an upscale spa in NYC.Β  The tea bags themselves are gorgeous:Β  large pouches that fit whole leaf teas (and they are biodegradable too!).Β  The organic detox blend is an organic mix ofΒ peppermint, burdock root, dandelion root, licorice root, red clover flower and basil.Β  ItΒ is subtleΒ with a pleasant aftertaste of mint.Β  The dandelion root does it’s job because I did find myself going to the bathroom a couple more times than normal on the days I enjoyed aΒ cupΒ πŸ™‚Β  A fantasticΒ tea to rotate into yourΒ Spring transitionΒ days as it gently and enjoyably ushers in cleansing while making you feel warm andΒ pampered.

Guayaki Yerba Mate Pure Empower Mint

I’ve been a fan of Guayaki yerba mate tea since my college years in California.Β  The company Guayaki was actually founded by students from my alma mater (Cal Poly San Luis Obispo).Β  A nourishing green tea, it naturally packs inΒ 24 vitamins and minerals, 15 amino acids and an abundance of antioxidants.Β Β Β It contains caffeine, so for me is a great way to transition away from coffee…but, unlike coffee, when I drink yerba mate I get an energy boost without the jitters.Β  This organic blend adds peppermint, spearmint and stevia to the yerba mate leaves for a refreshing and uplifting taste.

To enter this giveaway leave a comment below sharing what your favorite tea is (or you could just say hello!)Β  The giveaway ends Thursday, April 2 at Noon EST.Β  Good Luck!

Giveaway is closed…the winner is Lisa (comment #27)!!

  7. I love spicy chai and soothing peppermint with honey. So good!

  8. My favorite tea right now is Stash’s Earl Grey & Lavender. I will probably transition to something lighter as the weather gets warmer … Earl Grey is a wintry taste to me!

  17. Right now I’m more of a coffee person in the mornings, but enjoy tea several times a week, usually in the evenings when I’m winding down…although now that spring is here, I will probably transition more to tea. I’m a huge Mighty Leaf tea fan. The coffee shop on campus served it when I was attending and I definitely splurge on it when I can. Lately I’ve been enjoying the Organic Spring Jasmine and the Chamomile Citrus. The jasmine is a great afternoon/evening tea to wind down and relax adn the chamomile citrus is lovely for when I have a sore throat or just want something with more zest to it.

  21. love rasberry and peppermint tea, but must confess I am a coffee addict. Working on a plan to get off since finding your website and listening to “Beating the Sugar Blues” very insightful, thanks!

  22. Both of those sound great! I love to drink Lipton Blackberry tea.

Mmm… mint tea. Both of those sound great!

  24. My everyday favorite is green tea with lemon. Tazo makes awesome teas……when I was working I used to love their tea – especially the calming one. I recently saw a tea I would love to try, that was a flower blossom infused with tea. It sounded so pretty!

Thank you for sharing not only your wisdom but some of your favorite teas! I love reading your posts and perhaps I’ll be sitting with a cup of one of these teas reading them, soon.

  25. I love Chai, peppermint and think I would love blackberry. These two teas sound lovely and I would love to try them. I need the detox and the wakeup to get away from the coffee. I so hope I win!!!

I am trying to learn to like tea and drink more of it… other than sweet iced tea which is what I have always drank (southern girl). Thanks πŸ™‚

  27. Mmmm, tea! I love almost any chai, esp the Vanilla Chai and Holiday Chai from Stash. I add a dash of milk, and it makes me feel so good! And at night, you can’t go wrong with chamomile.
I’ve been following your blog for a month of so now and really enjoy it. Thanks!

  28. mmm… I love chai and some medicinal teas too. I have a whole cupboard full of medicinal herbs such as echinacea, peppermint, chamomile, white willow bark, slippery elm and much more. It’s great to have when someone’s not feeling well.
