My mom used to set the timer when we were brushing our teeth as kids. Mine aren't quite old enough for that yet but I'm hoping it works for them too!

I love this list. I am enjoying your blog!

So glad I found your blog today! These tips are wonderfully practical, and I have tried some of them in the past. Number 3 really resonated with me. I get stuck in creative ruts so frequently, and it's difficult to get myself motivated again. Kitchen timer to the rescue!

I've added you to my Google Reader. Looking forward to future posts!

I have used the timer for a few of these, mainly to get things done that I need to get done but have been avoiding. :) Like the dishes (it's true, they multiply!!!); amazing how many dishes can get washed in 15 minutes! If I do several 15 minute dishes sessions throughout the day, I can pretty much keep up with them...I hadn't thought about the timer for conversations, though, that's an interesting thought. I actually need to get a new timer, mine quit dinging when the time's up, sort of defeats the purpose...LOL!
